Squid Academy (“Squid”, “Squid Academy”, “we”, ”us”, “our”) dispenses its service (detailed below) to you through its website located at squid.gg (“Site”) and through its platform and related services (collectively referred to as “Service(s)”), subject to the following Terms & Conditions (as amended from time to time, the “Terms & Conditions”).
PLEASE READ THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS CAREFULLY, AS THEY GOVERN YOUR USE OF THE SITE AND SERVICES.
Modifications to Terms & Conditions: We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or change a portion of these Terms & Conditions at any time. If we do this, depending on the type and nature of the change we will post it on this page and indicate when these changes were last made and/or notify you, either via email or other reasonable means. Such changes will become effective no earlier than fourteen days after they are published, except for changes made for legal reasons or that address new functions of the Services, which will be effective immediately. Your continued use of the Services after these changes come into effect constitute your acceptance of the revised Terms & Conditions. In addition to this, when using certain Services, you will also be subject to additional terms related to such services that may be posted on the Service occasionally.
Use Description: The Squid Academy service and any content viewed through it, is solely available for your personal and non-commercial use. With your Squid subscription purchase, we grant you a limited, non-transferable, and non-exclusive license to access the Squid library of content through the service on a streaming-only basis. Except for the foregoing limited license, no title, right, or interest shall be transferred to you. You agree not to use this service for public performances.
Member account, Security and Password: You may never use another person’s account, nor may you provide another person with the username and password to use your account. You are fully responsible for all activities that occur under your own account. You agree to (a) immediately notify Squid of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security, and (b) make sure that you exit your account at the end of each and every session when accessing the Service. Squid Academy will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to comply with this Section.
Modifications to the Service: Squid reserves the right to discontinue or modify the service with or without prior notice. You agree that Squid will not be liable to you for any suspension, modification, or discontinuance of the Service.
General Practices Regarding Storage and Use: You acknowledge that Squid reserves the right to close accounts that are inactive for a considerably long period of time. You further acknowledge that Squid reserves the right to amend these general practices and limits at any time, to its sole discretion, with or without any notice.

User Conduct: You are solely responsible for all information displayed on your account. Squid reserves the right to investigate and/or take appropriate legal action against anyone who breaches any of the points below:
Disrupt the Service or Servers or networks connected with the Service, or violate any requirements, regulations, procedures or policies of networks connected to the service. Violate any applicable international or national laws, or any regulations having the force of law. Impersonate any entity or person, or falsely state or otherwise misrepresent your connection or affiliation with an entity or person; solicit personal information from anyone below the age of 18. Collect email addresses or other contact information of other users from the service via electronic or other means for the purpose of sending unsolicited communications. Offer or Advertise to buy or sell any goods or services for any business purpose that is not authorized. Obtain or attempt to access any information through any means not intentionally made available through the service.
Fees: To the extent the Service or any portion of it thereof is made available for any specific fee, you will be required to pick a payment plan and provide Squid with information regarding your credit card or another payment instrument. You guarantee to Squid that such information is true and that you are allowed to use the payment instrument. You will update your account information with any changes (for instance, a change in your credit card expiry date or billing address) that may occur in a timely manner. You agree to pay Squid the amount that is mentioned in the payment plan according to the terms of such plan and these Terms & Conditions. You shall be accountable for all taxes associated with the Services besides the taxes based on Squid’s net income.
Commercial Use: Unless approved by Squid in writing, you agree not to display, license, distribute, publish, duplicate, copy, sell, modify, resell, exploit, upload or transfer for any commercial purposes, any part of the service, access to the service or use of the service.
Service Content, Trademarks, and Software: You agree that the service may contain content (“Service Content”) that is protected by trademark, copyright, patent, trade secret or other proprietary laws and rights. Except as expressly authorized by Squid, you agree not to frame, modify, scrape, copy, rent, loan, sell, create or lease derivative works based on the Service or the Service content, in part or in whole. Using Squid’s Service you agree to not engage in any data mining, robots, scraping or similar data gathering methods. If you are blocked by Squid from accessing the Service (including your blocked IP address), you consent to not implementing any measures to bypass such blocking (by using proxy servers or masking your IP address). Any use of the Service content other than what is specified herein is strictly prohibited. The software and technology underlying the Service or distributed in connection therewith are the sole property of Squid, our partners, and our affiliates. You agree not to modify, copy, reverse assemble, reverse engineer or otherwise attempt to discover any source code, assign, sell, sublicense, or otherwise transfer any right in the Software. Any rights that are not expressly granted herein are reserved by Squid.
The Squid logos and names are trademarks and service marks of Squid. Other Squid products and service names and logos displayed and used via the Service may be service marks or trademarks of their own respective owners who may or may not be affiliated or endorse or be connected to Squid. Nothing in these Terms & Conditions or the Service should be construed as granting, by estoppel, implication or otherwise, any license or right to use any Squid displayed on the Service, without our prior written consent in each instance. All goodwill generated from the use of Squid trademarks will extend to our exclusive benefit.
The Service or third parties may provide links or other access to other resources and sites on the Internet. Squid has no control over such resources and sites and Squid is not responsible for and does not endorse such resources and sites. You further agree that Squid will not be responsible or liable, indirectly or directly, for any loss or damage caused by or in connection with the use of any content, goods, events or services available on or through any such resource or site. Any business you have with third parties while using the Service are between the third party and you, and you consent that Squid is not liable for any claim or loss that you may have against such third party.
You Agree to Release, indemnify and hold Squid and its affiliates, employees, directors and agents harmless from any and all losses, expenses, damages including reasonable attorneys’ fees, rights, actions, claims of any kind and injury (including death) arising out of or in relation to the use of the Service.
YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE IS AT YOUR OWN RISK. THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN “AS AVAILABLE” AND “AS IS” BASIS. EXCEPT FOR AS OTHERWISE EXPRESSLY MENTIONED HEREIN, SQUID EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS, STATUTORY OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF FITNESS, MERCHANTABILITY FOR A PARTICULAR TITLE, PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.
SQUID MAKES NO WARRANTY THAT (1)THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, TIMELY OR ERROR-FREE, (2) THE SERVICE WILL MEET YOUR EXPECTATIONS, (3) THE RESULTS THAT THE SERVICE WILL HELP YOU OBTAIN WILL BE RELIABLE OR ACCURATE, OR (4) THE QUALITY OF ANY SERVICES, PRODUCTS, INFORMATION, OR OTHER MATERIAL OBTAINED OR PURCHASED BY YOU THROUGH THE SERVICE WILL MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS.
You agree that Squid, in its sole discretion, may terminate your account (or any part thereof) or use of the Service and remove any content within the Service, for any reason, including but not restricted to a lack of use. Any suspected fraudulent, illegal or abusive activity that may be grounds for termination of your use of Service, will be referred to the appropriate law enforcement authorities. Squid may also in its sole discretion and at any time stop providing the Service, or any part thereof, with or without prior notice.
You agree that any stopping of your access to the Service under any provision may be effected without prior notice, and agree that Squid may immediately delete your account and all related information in your account or bar any further access to such Service. Further, you agree that Squid will not be liable to any third party or you for any termination of your access to the Service.
